Damn bad luck young fella! Club wll be patient with him, dont want him to end up injury plagued like his taleted brother at melb.

Astbury and Gourdis played ok apparently. Be intresting to see selection on thursday.

Gives him some time to get his upper body and core stronger. Guess he won't be able to do much for his legs.

I am not sure how he would go working on his core. He would have to isolate the hamstring section completley which makes me think he could only partially do this. Any experts care to comment?

As soon as I saw the comment at the start of the year that Astbury had put on 6 kilos I was worried. I rate him hugely, but think he may need another preseason to grow into that bulk...so to speak.
