With all due respect to Warner, Clarke, Smith and Johno who have all been great...... will these Ashes be forever known as Haddin's Ashes?

485 runs averaging 80, including some game changing performances, 11 catches, brilliant keeping and no doubt some handsome sledging.

Join me in paying homage here...... :D

Definitely happy to pay homage to Hadds. His series has been magnificent.

I hope our selectors are reflecting on what's happened, too, because this just goes to show how critical every selection is. If Haddin hadn't been around, and his predecessor had been (let's not mention his name again), we would almost certainly have been in deep trouble in the First Test. Instead, Haddin individually changed the whole feel and momentum of the series in that one innings. And has kept building on it ever since.

We also need to make sure the right wicketkeeper is picked to replace him once he goes in a few years' time. Paine is the right guy in my opinion. Similar ability with the bat, and an even better gloveman.

Paine is nowhere near as good as Haddin with the bat. Such an overrated cricketer IMO.

Yet another fantastic series from Haddin, no doubt.

It has been a massive win-win for Australia getting rid of Wade as keeper (and I use that word very loosely in his case), and getting back one of our finest of all time.

It's amazing how underrated Haddin has been for such a long time. But i think he was unfortunate being the successor to Gilchrist, and that has had a lot to do with this.

I liked it more when he went down the pitch to the Saffas when Australia were 5/18 at Cape Town (making it 6/18). **** you England for rejuvenating his career!

Nobody doubts he ****ed up there. And hell, I was calling for his head as much as anybody. But he was out of form, and didn't know how to get back into form. His judgement was all off. At the moment, his judgement is pretty much bang on, and he's playing brilliantly, so let's just enjoy it while it lasts, yeah?

not as good with the gloves either IMO

In my lifetime alone, Marsh, Healy & Gilchrist have all been significantly better than Haddin & my grandfather spoke very highly of Oldfield, Tallon & Grout. The history books also speak highly of Murdoch & Blackham.

Among the rest, Zoehrer & Wright were better keepers than Haddin, but nowhere near as good with the bat.

He has played well above what I expected from him but this is not a batsman's ashes

Johnson 19 @ 14.63
Harris 11 @ 19.09
Siddle 10 @ 17.6

40/50 English wickets to fall thus far have been to our fast men on flat decks with no huge swing or variable bounce and they all have figures any bowler would be proud of, if our attack bowls this well we will beat anyone we play.

He's been very good. Rode his luck but thats cricket. He has made runs at massive moments earlier on in the series.

Haddin is playing a massive role. He's suprised me with both bat and with the gloves.

Hasn't surprised me to be honest. Knew he had it in him and has done well against England in the past.

Has been very very good. I think this will probably be the one series he'd want to frame and hang in his lounge room, he's been the man time and again.
