Won't happen, Hampson has signed a 3 yr deal with us - no way will we let him go. To me, Hammer seems to have some untapped potential that will benefit us in the long run.

How about Carrazzo + Bentick + 2nd rounder?

I cannot see us having 3 quality young ruckman on our list and Freo having just 1. I reckon they would want a ruckman with potential.

My thoughts were that they signed Hampson recently for 2 years to give him a chance to develop with the view that when that contract expires they will be in a position to perhaps deal with the Gold Coast which i believe is where he grew up, but someone had mentioned that his family may have moved to Victoria, not that would matter if he was keen to rejoin his mates etc.

I believe we need to add to our young talent and in particular our ruck stocks and not trade them away.

Must say I like the kid but I reckon Warnock looks an absolute star him and Special K to me could end up two superstars of the AFL

Anyway, won't happen as Hampson signed up this year, and after he and his family already moved from Queensland down to Vic, can't see him being open to the idea of ending up in WA.

Freo will get Nic Naitanui with their 3rd pick. When Freo have an animal in the likes of Sandilands and even K. Bradley to help in the ruck, they can afford to trade Warnock for some much needed mid-field talent.

Freo lose their games in the middle, because Sandilands gets the tap but hardley to advantage, so by having Bentick in the middle for them as an in and under, it's a win win.

Krooz could be a quality KPP @ CHF once he developes, but as a 3rd ruck option. Hammer with his great leap and Warnock with his height, I can see us becoming a possible top 4 contender next year!

As for Freo, could never work out why Sandilands
(who gets 90% of hit outs at the bounce, but hits it nowhere),
doesn't simply belt the ball forwards 30 yards.

Exactly which part of ‘lack’ and ‘depth’ do you blokes not understand?

We can’t afford any more of these ‘two for’ and ‘three for’ trades. If anything we should be doing the opposite for draft picks.

If we are to acquire Warnock it would have to be in a calculated fashion that would help us out beyond the mere acquisition of a ruckmen. Perhaps the trading of picks and/or players so that we can still benefit from the draft despite not having the same picks as we started with.

I don’t want us to be picking up B-Grade triers in the lower reaches of the draft that will make Heath Scotland look like Chris Judd.

We need to address the issue of our rucks obviously, but sending Hampson to Freo for Warnock is not a good way forward.

The argument of having 3 quality rucks is a non issue as we currently dont have 2 quality rucks.

Even if both Hampson and Krueze exceed our expectations next year they are physically not ready to crash and bash all day, and we dont want them to.

Why we would give up a ruckman for a ruckman? We MUST keep Hampson. He is a massive talent, and the club would be very remiss if they even considered trading him.
