Kane Johnson was supposedly a Tigers supporter i think. I think there was an interview with Dipper in a footy record a couple of years back, which involved him asking it how it was to play for the club you barracked for as a kid.

I'd do anything to play for the club you barracked for. I'd like to know how much of a pay cut people would take to go to their barracked club?

I'd rather get a kid who wants to make a name for himself as a player rather than one who is living the dream just by wearing the jumper. Alex Gilmore was a tiger supporter through and through (had a boat named Punt Rowed) but didn't seem to want to put the hard yards in once he got there. Maybe if we could get someone like Hansen who could be both it would be ideal, but if it comes to a choice between the two, I'd take the player over the supporter every time.
