If we didn't trade pick 3, Brisbane would more than likely not have swapped picks with the Giants (to big of a downgrade) and may well have taken McCluggage at number 2. Unless you can pierce the veil between infinitely branching multiverses, I don't think we can make that call.

As it stands we have essentially turned pick 3 in to two great KPP prospects.
