We have lost alot over the passed two years - Paul Licuria, James Clement, Nathan Buckley, Scott Burns, and Shane Wakelin.

And with Anthony Rocca and Simon Prestigiacomo on their last legs - the heart of Collingwood looks gone.

Of course they are hard to replace... but like any other side we are in the rebuilding stage and our heart will be pumping and rejuvenated when the new blood transfusion kicks in

The heart of collingwood gone

just **** off already

Is there need for that, everyone has there opinion. Just because you don't like it there is no need to have a go at someone. This is why as a Collingwood supporter I hate some Collingwood supporters. Disagree with what he says but don't get nasty. :thumbsd::thumbsd::thumbsd::thumbsd:

He makes more threads than DTM every one of them useless and calling for teh head of didak or heath shaw or whatever.

Never any positivity just baseless rubbish sooking about shit.

Ive disagreed in every thread, this one is just bullshit yes they are all hard to replace but dont tell me my clubs ****en heart is gone that is just rubbish.

thats why mick debuted 9 players in the last 2 seasons for times like now.. now that they have had a sniff they need to take the next step and show that they can help the team in filling those spots.. not sayin they are going to be easy replacements, but they would have played the position and learned a hell of a lot in there first few games... when i say they i mean players like.. Brown, anthony, goldsack, cook, dawes, mccarthy, reid, wellingham. There are 5 KP players there, and 3 mids. 3 mids have gone in bucks, burns and licuria. and at the end of next year 4 KP players would have finished will be clement, wakelin, rocca, prestagiacomo.. So get excited if ur a collingwood supporter, its looking on the up... and also u have players like pendlebury, thomas, swan who havent reached there peak yet, swan will in the next year or two.. and if u add cousins to the side for the experience and skill, its more learning for the younger mids.

With the retirements of Paul Licuria, James Clement, Nathan Buckley, Scott Burns, and Shane Wakelin and possibly Anthony Rocca and Simon Prestigiacomo next year, that'll be 1421 Collingwood games (minus 2009 for Rocca & Presti) worth of experience gone in 3 seasons.

That would elevate the likes of Fraser, Lockyer, O'Bree, Davis and Medhurst into the more senior/veteran bunch. Its fair to say that these 6, at their best, are in our 22 and provide quality football. The only scary prospect of this, is that not alot of them are physically tough and intimidating, compared to a Licuria, Clement, Burns or Rocca.

Our next age group after this is Didak, Maxwell, Swan and H Shaw so as you can tell, the list gradually becomes more skillful and exciting. All I know is, in 2 years or so, the senior players of this football club will be good, honest skillful players with the 21-24 bracket being the heart and soul of this footy club which will win us Premierships.

TheClokes has said alot negetive shit about Collingwood recently, so much infact that it rivals what opposition supporters are saying. What Optimax said is hardly nasty. While everyone is entitiled to their opinion if all they are doing is having pot shots at the club then people are going to have a go at them.

thank you thatday:thumbsu:

Officially the dumbest thread ever!!!!!!!!! Players turn over and the game goes on. Senior players retire and younger guys step up. It's not like we don't have good quality youth coming through to fill the holes.

I was hoping that no-one would post anything in this thread and TheClokes would just fade into insignificance...shame really that he got a bite.

Why isn't it just banned?

I rather have a young list then having an old list that will not go any where in years to come. If we do pick up Cousins and our kids showed what they showed this year things are looking good down Lexus centre.

lol, id argue that you saying you hate him for being nasty is also a nasty thing to say.
get over it already.

This thread is like a dirty, great pimple.
Every time I notice it I have to give it a squeeze.
But only the same old stuff comes out.:D

Try something like 14 first gamers in the last 2 seasons!
