One think americans never seem to lack is confidence so i am not surprsied at his attitude one bit but will be good to see how he goes dont know about making it in the AFL in season 1 but a year under the belt playing wont hurt beacuse he will need to learn how to read the play but would be stocked if he did become a gun ruck

I guess if Pyke could manage a few games last year and not suck completely its possible for Shae. Pyke is probably not a bad comparison considering he's a very quick ex-rugby player not used to kicking/handballing.

I'd love to see a foot race between Shae and Pyke.

I'm not sure about the whole confidence thing. Sometimes in writing people come across as more arrogant than they actually are. However, in Shae's case I think it is pretty much out there.

It might not be such a bad thing if he backs it up with performance. He certainly has the drive to make it and probably will.

I have a problem with arrogant people usually, but Shae seems to have alot of time for anyone who approaches him. Therefore = good bloke!

i agree with what you said lenz, he has played professionally, so he knows all about recovery, correct diet, training discipline, etc
