He is available this week, should we rush him into senior level against brisbane or do we continue him in the VFL?

C'mon.............get realistic here, the guy has hardly played any footy at all this year. He'll play at least 4 matches for the Bullants before he is considered for senior selection.

Wouldn't have thought so. He will need some match practice and his form will have to be ok before he is considered to senior selection.

If his form warrants it, we might see him around rounds 18-20

According to carltonfc.com.au, he should play for Bullant reserves this week.

Would rather he was in the bullants seniors, cant see the point in playing him 2 levels below where we expect him to play, injuries or not.

ideally it would be good if he played in the seniors but he hasn't played all year. why does he deserve a spot in the bullant's senior team in front of someone else? remember the bullant's are fying and all thier players are in good form. hartlett will have to earn a place in the bullant's team just like he has to earn a spot in the carlton team. apart from a fair effort in the wiz cup he hasn't done anything yet.

As long as he plays a game of footy at some level it doesn't matter.

He won't be match fit, so I don't expect him to come out this week and kick butt. Ideally, he will be in the Bullant snrs next week.

If he plays in the Bullants Reserves then the coaching staff ought to be shot!

They need to see what the kid has got and playing him in the 3rds is absolute rubbish!!!!

I think you will find that because the Bullants are playing Sandringham this week, the coaching staff probably felt it would be asking a bit much for Hartlett to return in a match which will be so high in intensity. Ease him back against lesser competition this week and if he pulls up ok, he can have a run in the Bullants' seniors the following week.

Wow, Hartlett would have to be easily the most overrated player on our list. The guys played what, 6 games of footy in two years? Good luck to the guy, hope he remains injury free for the rest of the year and plays some good footy but some of you people should get a bit of a grip on realtiy. Some clown actually suggested the Dogs might trade us Higgins if we traded Hartlett to them in a recent thread. Talk about insular

Great to see Harts back.

As you all know, I am a huge fan of his, and am really excited by the prospect of Harts running out for his Carlton debut in the not too distant future.

I am not worried that he is in the Bullants reserves side, just very happy that he is getting a game. Hopefully, over the next few weeks, he will show us that he is way to good for the Bullants reserves, and make his way into the Bullants senior side. Then, once he gains full match fitness, and has had a few games there, if his form warrants it, he will be selected to play for the Blues.

I think he will make his debut in round 19 or 20.

Welcome back, Harts, now it's time to show us all what you've got :thumbsu:
