Three young players who could all be 200+ gamers for the mighty Hawks IMHO.

Who do people think will have a better year in 2015 and why?

I think Jed will. He's a bit more versatile, can start in the centre square, on a wing, or play as a genuine marking medium forward. Would love to see him play 15 - 20 games this year. Hopefully he has an injury free pre-season and keeps out of the swamps when fishing.

Would like to see Hartung and Woodward replace Simpkin as our go to subs though.

Jed for me. Then Hartung, followed by Woodward.

All 3 are fully capable of having an impact next season though and I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see any combination of them in the best 22 by the end of the season.

None of them have done much but all have so much potential. The glimpses from each of them is terrific. Hartung is the one with pace and run that can be more consistent within games. Anderson is potentially a game changer with his toughness and class. Woody is similar to a Liam Shiels in terms of potential which is a good mid not the best but certainly one you would miss from starting four. So for this year - Jed will be most underdone. Woody may be more consistent with Hartung to become a weapon as either running depth or sub

Alex Woodward will have a breakout season in 2015 in my opinion. Already won the VFL liston trophy this year and with a full pre-season under his belt, 2015 could possibly be the year he gets a good run in the senior side. I reckon he will get plenty of game-time next year.

Would like to put JOR in this bracket of players as in "Has played a few AFL games, has lots of potential."

But...

Jed for me but f&ck I love the look of Hartung. Would love to be "as torn" on these two in 12 months.

The fact that Hartung was selected to replace Sammy when he was injured tells you a little about what the club things of him. That being said, Jed (if eligible) would have been playing this year, possibly keeping Litherland or Langford out of the team longer.

Injury free.... Jed Anderson. He will be an absolute star. Then Woodward and then Hartung.

Hartung is just going to burst on to the scene next year. Really impressed by his year. Composed, ball winning, hard running mid. Love him.

My favourite player at the moment is Jed though. Would love to see a Langford-esque rise in 2015.

It is a nice choice to have. They all have a good mix of skill and mongrel. I think Woody and Jedi also have good leadership potential, but think Jedi is more ready to contribute in 2015.

Chronologically its Woody's year to step up. If he fails to get more games this season you would start to worry.

Billy Hartung Born:24-Jan-1995
Jed Anderson Born:2-Feb-1994
Alex Woodward Born:11-Jun-1993

He was a late draft pick who's missed his first 2 years with serious knee injuries. Despite that lack of continuity and opportunity he's been able to bounce back and win the Liston Trophy. Club expectations in 2015 will likely centre around him continuing to put miles into his legs, building his tank and confidence. With Jed and Whitecross fit again there would be no shame in struggling to crack the team next year. I think he will play half a dozen games though.
