Blasphemy I know.

Was so confident about Gaz winning it after round 20.

Then Kangaroos were basically given two bye weeks(Carlton, Bulldogs)
where they could do what ever they pleased.

Pretty certain Harvey will get atleast 5 votes for those two games
that might just tip him over.

Doubt if Gaz will poll any votes against Port or Brisbane.

Well done Harvey if he wins it but...

Prove me wrong you 'white maggots!'

I was thinking exactly the same thing when I was reading the GAJ article in todays HS. I can't see him polling in either of the last 2 games. My tip is Ablett to be infront at round 20 but Chad Cornes instead of Harvey to snatch the medal.

Its entirely possible harvey will win, he is a good player. Am quietly confident regarding Gaz though. And if I remember correctly, he polled a few votes in the coaches award on Footy Classified for Round 21 (he was one of the reasons for our resurgence against Port.) I know thats not indictive of what the umpires will vote, but still a posisbility he will recieve votes for round 21.

He should get three votes just for the goal that nearly won us the game.
But i expect Burgoyne will get the 3, not sure about the two, and they can possibly give all votes to PA players since there was less than a kick in it? Surely? Who else stood out for us?

I honestly think Gaz will poll 1 or 2 votes in the Port Game to see the camera's start clicking eratically in the GAJ direction!

The voting can often be quite wide of the mark in the Brownlow as we know. I think Gaz will only struggle with our own guys taking votes off him...I think this is where harvey has the real edge.

Gaz must have posted a lot of 3's mid season so that is what should win it for him

Don't know that much about roos season, but I don't think Harvey would have as many 'best ons'

I reckon Jnr will go very close, and deservedly so. Great player and will be for years to come. Actually couldn't believe the cr@p he was getting from some opposition team posters on this board over the past few years regarding him being soft. Total garbage.

Must point out that your logic about that goal won't cut it though, or else Cassissi will pick up the 3 votes. But i was cheering Jnr on at the time because i don't have much time for the Power.

19- Ablett
19- Bartel
18- Cornes
17- Harvey

I think Harvey will win it, he stands out like the proverbial dog's in that side, whereas Gaz will have a lot of guys taking votes off him like Jimmy, Selwood, Corey, etc.

I recon Harvey will get alot of votes late in the season.

The only game where I know he won't get a vote was against us in round 20.

3 votes; Bartel, 2 votes; G.Ablett, 1 vote; ?

Well if Jnr doesn't win it i hope (and think) Harvey wins it, as long as that d1ckhead Chadley Cornes doesn't win it.

Speaking of brownlow. People prob think im a bit weird but im just thinking outside the box. Id give Steve Johnson a fair chance to win the brownlow i mean what has kicked 40 goals this year after missing the first 5 games and u won every game except 1 with him in the team. 40 goals in 17 games isnt bad for a small forward. I wouldnt be surprised if he finished top 5.
btw if B.Harvey wins it, its a joke he is the biggest recicver in the competiton equal with J.Bowden

I honestly cannot see anyone else but a geelong player winning this...why??

We have won at least 3 games more than any other club and by large winning margins, in a winning game by a large winning margin it is the victorious sides that will get all 6 votes nearly all of the time.

Our team will poll more votes than any other team and most of those will go to midfielders, Jimmy and Gaz are our 2 most noteable midfielders and purely based on the fact he has played all 22 games I cannot see anyone else but GAJ winning the nod.
