Just put this together.

Every goal HH has kicked in the last 12 months.

Thanks Jen for putting that together.

Looks to have good front-and-square skills and instincts. Very clean collecting the ball off the pack and quick to get the ball to foot on both sides of his body.

Will be very interesting to see how he goes.

It also must be said that some players just never really shine at VFL level but quickly look better at senior level… and vice versa of course

Agree.
I think we need to find out about some of our players before we decide to keep or delist.
VFL form (whether killing it or struggling) isn't always an indicator of ability at the top level (many reasons)
HH, Draper are 2 in particular I want to see to judge whether we can move forward with them -- however I'd love to know if Reef could make it as a mid in the 1s as well

What is good about his highlights is his speed and pressure and even better he kicks goals on both legs, it is easy to see why they have been watching closely since he virtually joined us.

People saying he has got traits which stand up in the 1sts are right he has good pace and power and when he tackles they stick and he can kick either foot, I think he would have played last year if not for illness and injury.

I am glad they seem to have fix his hamstring worries so go well HH and show us what you have got mate.

Wasn’t Carmy sub last year?

Not in his first game
He debuted v north. He was sub for a few games later in the year but not in his debut

Naming a player for a debut and being named Sub would be anti-climactic. If you're good enough to be named, you should be good enough to start in the ground. It appears he's been named in the run-on 22. Also, I saw that Markov was already named Sub? Can't recall where but I thought that was early. Anyone else see this?

They also named the sub last week before game day too. Many clubs are doing it this way now.

Thanks Jen
this is a great compilation - he has a good leg on him. Seems to get 50 metres pretty easily in few of these. Not sure if they are wind assisted or not. A couple on his left as well is pretty impressive.
What's his overhead marking like - that's one area that Elliot excels in for a smaller forward

Not totally sure. He is very much of a stoppage crumber. He doesn't fly for marks like elliott does. Just a good read of the ball around packs.

I’m ashamed to say that I wasn’t sure what HH even looked like until he was named this week. Although the club had a social media post (somewhere?) earlier in the week in which he featured. And I thought - who the hell is that? Poor of me, and not up to my usual unhealthy standards of stalking the club.

He has the ‘look’ of a footballer, if that even exists. I really hope he does that thing of playing better when surrounded by better.

I’m guilty of the same offences. 🤣

That's what I see too. I like that they're looking at him, as none of our other smalls have crumbing as their main thing. He's got the potential to add something and create goals from situations where we don't create many goals.

that is a fair bit of editing there Jen.... great job, and straight into your show reel!
Not perfect but it's better than nothing that that was around. To give people an idea of the kid.

I liked him from the first when he said he modelled his game on Patrick Dangerfield!

Club views him in the same way. The explosive power. Ability to be strong at stoppage, his long term view is mid forward
