I signed an old player (32) with the plan of making him my next coach.

He is a defender but the most experienced player in my team by far, haven't conceded yet in the 5 games so it has worked a treat so far.

Hope to finish top 2 this season.

Lets hope he has pretty high inadequate experience, it takes a while for players to go up in experience, roughly 2 seasons?

won 4-nil against the team that use to be second but now im second after only coming into divV this season, equal on points with top and beat him a couple of weeks ago so i may even go up againt but dont really want to as id get smashed all over the park.

Now we're at the halfway stage of the season it will be interesting to hear how everybody is going.

For my first season in Division V (rated the 27th toughest league for this week) I've managed to win 3 in a row and get myself into 4th place.

My wages are up to a ridiculous $255,638.

I lashed out on a extra-terrestrial striker ($93,200 per week)and a supernatural midfielder ($64,680 per week) which has boosted my ratings significantly but also put me into substantial debt. I'll have to sell my best defender trainee after his next pop. Hopefully that will be in the next week or two.

My highest player skill is outstanding and i only have 2 of them and they are trainees. Ive got a weak league though with one who forefits every game and 2 others who look to be new teams that either got a bot league last year and got through with that or just got a new team this year.

I dont even get what your wages cost a week unless i sell someone.

My wages are just a tad over 266k

Loaded up with a titanic keeper + winger, world class mid + winger, supernat mid, 3 brilliant defenders the rest of my squad are made up with passable and solids apart from my scoring trainees which are a mixture of outstanding and formid. (2 of them have outstanding wing)

My 2 mids are like 30, so i save heaps on wages with them

Very disapointed after last weeks loss to the 2nd placed team. I dominated possesion in both halfs and my 5 man defense easily was better than his attack while my midfield also dominated. I MOTS it away in the double-header and according to alltid it was a very surprising match. It ended 3-1 after I scored the first goal.

I realise I only played 1 striker compared to 3 but my one striker had a better performance than any of theirs.

Geez... Hattrick can be frustrating!

Yea got a 15 yo defender thats averaging around 4 stars and another 16 yo def thats about 3.5- 4 stars a game.

my midfield is lacking but got a decent forward whose scored the majority of my goals and has an ave of 4 stars.

won 4-2 today but think im going to start throwing a game or 2 so i dont go up as i will get killed in div iv. Im equal on points with 1st but he has a better G/D than me but i beat him last time 3-1 and havent lost or drawn since rd 1.

35,000 is a considerable amount of money on wages for div 6!

I had high wages early this season but realised that by discarding a few high profile players I still won my games while wages were significantly less. As I'm over a game clear of the second placed team, and sure to promote I'll begin to spend the big bucks when I see my new league.

In regards to youth squad I am pretty happy with what my scout has found. I have a 15 year old 6 star striker and a 16 year old 5.5 star striker and a few good defenders, but as mentioned before I lack any midfielders. That is why I haven't been winning my youth games as I will hardly have possesion of the ball.

Yep

The closer you get to the soft cap the less you will get each week.

Being in Division 5 and having 1500 supporters you should still be getting a relatively high number each week after a win. I'm in Division 5 and have 1870 and still get 8 new supporters each update (16 for the week) after each win.

Yeah, bought in 2 new players who drove the wage bill up a bit. I could trim it down but like having the security of semi-decent backup players. My PM trainees keep on popping so not looking forward to the next wage update!

Have 9 from 9 in my league, playing prob the best team this week who I beat at home last time, even if I lose this I will be above the auto promote line.

First loss of the season, 3-2 away, 5 chances each, his keeper was the difference.

Now both equal top with same points & GD (same goals for and against).

Hope to still get promoted this season, but would prob come straight back down.

im currently sitting 2nd and hopefully will finish up there aslong as i only lose one game and thats against the team leading. My GD is worse than the team sitting 3rd and he is 3 pts behind so ive gotta keep infront of him or score 15 goals in the next 2 games against the 2 new other teams.

you get more money for finishing 2nd than finishing 3rd dont you, what is the price difference for Div V between 2nd and 3rd?

20.5mil? Thats crazy!

Doubt cheating is rife on hattrick though, there are plenty of people with a keen eye and any player transfered for that amount is sure to be spotted by a lot of people and would surely be dobbed in for the teams to be dealt with.

get a passable coach with poor leadership and set up a training routine such as playmaking defending or scoring. Which ever you choose get some trainees ages under 20, they should have atleast inad skill leavel in the primary skill that you are training. if you go with defending or playmaking get 10 trainees, forwards 6, wingers 8. Um i think thats the basics for the moment, sell what you can though.
