I feel for Haley he has definitely been playing out of position. I still see him as our best ruck and pinch hitting forward.

He's been playing forward far to much and he's being covered to well.

I'll say it as I've said so many times b4 if McEvoy doesn't drop in the space in our back 50 and give our depleted back line a chop out he shouldn't be in the team.

He can take a contested grab so get back there and show it. Defence mustn't be big on the priority list at Seaford getting smashed by 100 plus but its the key for our B2B tilt!!

Don't hold your breath. Read some of the stuff about the McEvoy trade from back in 2013. Clarko had discussed with McEvoy on the phone and spoke about in the articles how he believed the way McEvoy was being utilised at the Saints (taking intercept marks in defense) wasn't the best way to use him. Based on how Clarko has used him earlier in the year expect to see him pushing up and down the wing to provide the tall exit target from defense.

I don't understand the calls by some posters on here for Ben Ross to be dropped. He's been the sub in all three games and done quite well when he's come on. He was far from our worst player last week.

Hard to see us winning with Lake, Hill, Rioli and Gibson out. A win would be fantastic but as long as we play with heart and don't lose by more than 3-4 goals I think that's OK. Bad loss last week (although we did not get smashed) that I think will ultimately cost us Top 4. I'm predicting we will finish the season 15-7. With a full compliment of players (hopefully), anything is possible.
