Scrimshaw BOG in first half. Sicily...you did your best mate, it happens. To the rest of the team as a collective....sometimes you get what you deserve, We looked soft all night tbh it's like (and I'm talking about micro moments) we were often just waiting for the momentum to turn....waiting.

Too many players running on like tackles wouldn't stick.
I didn't like our performance.

Player wise Scrimmers played a huge first half to keep us in it, Meek and Newk were solid all night and I thought Finn and Harry were decent as well.

Completely forgot about Day. We really missed him tonight. Would have been the difference.

And we don't have to worry about interstate clubs making our home games look like neutral ground, love what Sam Mitchell has done for this club. We've come out of a pretty dark controversy and a shit list looking like gold.

Boys tried hard but we didn’t deserve to win, dish that up against Sydney or Geelong and we would get smacked.
Wonderful season though, cannot complain about finishing 6th.
Our forward line was bad tonight, that’s what cost us ultimately. That and a messy midfield effort.

A lot under rate frosty still, his role was un replaceable. His closing speed and ability to stop play completely changed how we played from the back half.

Disappointing result but a season that well and truly exceeded expectations. I really loved seeing the youngsters enjoy themselves

That’s such a disappointing game to lose. Port brought the heat and we wilted.

That’s a game that we just shouldn’t have lost. We play remotely well and we win. Even if we just took our chances at the end.

Bit of a symptom of our year. Our best is great but our worst is bad and we bring our worst too often.

As good as this year has been it’s a year that’s a huge missed opportunity.

Kind of a shame that Weddle, Impey and Mass collectively saved their worst games for last.

Newk and Scrim were massive. Sicily move forward I thought was premature but it nearly came off.

Meek unfortunately had his colours lowered by Sweet.

They did their homework on us and just negated our outside game .. but I thought we were more braver and deserved to win in the end but wasn’t meant to be .. bring on barass battle and a few others and natural overall improvement and top 4 finish beckons next year
