I actually feel a bit sorry for Murphy as its clear that the wider supporter base was against his inclusion as over a long period of time we have seen what his game is like at that level and its not there. Its not his fault he gets selected, its the coach. So every fumble, mistake etc that he does tonight will be magnified within the supporter base and if we are losing, it will bring added frustration.

But if it is another virtually anonymous game from him, then the blow torch has to be faced at nicks and the selection team as to why they would overlook the youngsters who are the future for a player that everyone knows what they bring and what they bring almost always does not cut it and improve the chances of the team winning.

Its hard to see us winning down there against a hawks side that are back up and running and the selection debbie downer just adds to the trepidation.

I support the fact we are bringing in Murphy. Nicks has looked to the past.

Last time we played Hawks in Tassie we won by 3 points and Murphy led a key statistical category for the Crows (clangers, it was clangers).

The media department always seems to be well aware what the fans think of the players.

The header image on the social posts for team selection is usually the most important inclusion to the side. This time it was Mark Keane. They didn't want to put Murphy on there.

I wonder if they feed back this information to anyone else at the club

When I saw the email come through about the team selection with Keane on it - I was concerned.

It showed they didn't want to put whomever was coming in for Peatling in the spotlight.

When looking at our 3 game stretch before the bye, I thought we were capable of winning 2 of them,

This is the one I had penciled as the loss.

But we need to show we can beat a good side away from home, only two more chances in the season.

Sam Mitchell has pretty much had Nicks number every time we played, so i'd be confident too if I were them. I don't think it'll be they'll shut down Rach and Keays as much as cutting off our ball movement entirely and we'll just go back to rushed bombs to get it forward which will leave nothing for our forwards to really work with.
