I am led to believe that they can only appeal if the HDFNL voted to accept them and the CMFNL denied the request.

If your intended future home doesn't vote you in, I am sure the process ends right there.

Marong and Maiden Gully bids to join HDFL also rejected by the league

How much of that can be attributed to the rumblings going on in general around the region with the commission and the leagues?

Massive impacts for marong and Maiden gully, surely afl vic need to step in, both clubs have massive junior numbers and are trying to shift from a league with no thirds to a comp that does

The statement read that the Clubs wanted to stay together and continue to build their junior pathways. I'm not sure how adding Marong and Maiden Gully will affect that as they are both loaded with Juniors. I can see how they wouldn't be keen on adding Cohuna based on travel but I think the Commission will add the other two.

Even number in senior football but if they can’t get an U18 side on the ground it creates a lot of issues.

AFL central vic have put out a media release basically saying they have no authority to force the HDFL to take the 3 clubs.
