Run it independent much the same way Picola FL does.Interesting read
'We'll walk away from commission if need be': angry HDFNL

Guess if did could run the league way they actually want …..
Is this the 1st time LBU have missed the finals since joining the HDFL?
Ok yep rings a bell.Nope. They battled a bit following their previous flag run
Marong and Maiden Gully bids to join HDFL also rejected by the leagueI am led to believe that they can only appeal if the HDFNL voted to accept them and the CMFNL denied the request.
If your intended future home doesn't vote you in, I am sure the process ends right there.
The statement read that the Clubs wanted to stay together and continue to build their junior pathways. I'm not sure how adding Marong and Maiden Gully will affect that as they are both loaded with Juniors. I can see how they wouldn't be keen on adding Cohuna based on travel but I think the Commission will add the other two.How much of that can be attributed to the rumblings going on in general around the region with the commission and the leagues?
Or is it just a clear-cut decision irrespective of the white noise?
Even number in senior football but if they can’t get an U18 side on the ground it creates a lot of issues.Political hot potato passed on by the league, afl cv will let all 3 in, even number of teams and strengthens central vic footy

The HDFL was looking for interest from clubs in starting a U15 comp early this season. With no 4ths in the hdfl I'd think they'd get the numbers, although good luck against 18 year olds at the zoo
AFL central vic have put out a media release basically saying they have no authority to force the HDFL to take the 3 clubs. The statement read that the Clubs wanted to stay together and continue to build their junior pathways.
