Well I have my current url of: http://hawthornhawks.cjb.net
I was wondering if anybody knew were I can get a .com url at a reasonable price. I am looking to make the site something like; http://www.hawksnews.com or: http://www.hawkscentral.com

well you get a domain, through bigpond, which is very reliable but fairly expensive, especially for a teenager.

I would suggest just running a search "Domain Hosting" or "Web Hosting" on Yahoo! should get you somewhere.

how much money are we talking about WCE2000?

You can't get a .com.au, unless you have a registered business name. Australian law I am afraid.

good point, Anna never thought of that.

But you can look at getting a .org adress from a server, which is totally free.

i saw something on ninemsn.com about registering your domain name and getting .com and stuff like. but cos im not interested, i dont know if there is any cost involved. so yeah sorry i couldnt help u further, but it might be worth a shot. u could also try geocities and build a site there. then u get it
