There is a rumor Andrew Walker has fallen out with Malthouse. I'd love to swap McKernan or Hendo (although I'd hate to see Hendo go) for him.

He's a free agent next year too, they might decide to strike early and get decent compo now. I think it would have to be Hendo and Smack at least. Prefer him over Polec.

Can't see Hendo being involved in a straight player trade

the club are trying to use Hendo to get back into the early rounds of the draft

Port board reckons theres rumours of Essendon being interested, not sure where they are getting that from. Anyway if Essendon get 22 from the Bulldogs that could be the pick we need. Or Hendo for Gumby?

I wouldn't do Hendo for Gumby, nor Hendo for 22.

Let's hope we don't offload him so cheaply.

It'd have to be Hendo for 22 and Gumbleton. For mine, Hendos worth is either a pick between ~12-17, or an early 2nd (18-24) plus a 3rd rounder. Gumbletons value is no more than a 3rd rounder considering he's out of contract, injury prone and starved of opportunities at Essendon.

Hendo for pick22 and Gumbleton probably isn't the worst deal, gives us some much need key position forward depth in Gumbleton and gives us a relatively early pick in the draft. With the Adelaide influence of Craig and Goodwin who both had a bit to do with Hendo, they'd know what he brings to the table, plus the Dons are probably another club lacking some genuine pace.

Not at all, Gumbleton is worth little more than steak-knives and pick 22, well I know BigFooty loves to overrate draft picks, but Hendo is easily worth this pick, especially when you consider he has 2 years to run on his contract. I know we've all got a massive inferiority complex on this board thanks to the ineptness of Trigger, Harper and co, but when you see Shaun Hampson traded for pick 28 and Ben McEvoy, a good but not great ruckman, go for pick 17 and a decent fringe player, then Henderson, who's an athletic freak, great size and skills who's already proved himself to have match winning capabilities and recently shown the consistency that he's previously lacked, is easily worth pick 22 plus Gumbleton who we could quite possibly get through the PSD if we were that interested in him.

Gee, okay Vader, played 7 good ones to finish the year as a start, to go along with a scattering of good games in previous years, but seriously, if you don't understand value in Ricky Henderson then nothing I'm going to say will change your mind.

Why do we need draft picks - unless we are talking getting us an early 1st rounder (including packaged deal), would prefer to keep Hendo or trade him for a similar player like A Walker.

I think there is value in Hendo and thats why he's worth pick 22 but not Gumby chucked in as well. You answered it yourself, he played 7 good games and a scattering.

Probably only a few less than Henderson. Henderson has shown infrequent moments of being a gun but his career to date has been generally pretty average. If we could get a pick 25 and under for him, and considering he is a free agent next year, I would take it without a second thought.

What? I thought he was contracted until the end of 2015. Besides, don't you have to have eight seasons before you become a FA?

I'm keep saying this but people need to ignore what list managers and player managers say publicly during trade month

Noble also said entering trade week that Vince isca previous B&F and won't be traded and that the Vince rumours seem to surface every year, however few days later Vince is meeting with Roos

If the right deal comes along for Hendo he will be traded, if not he will remain
