Absolute BS. ******** poor attitude towards the game, add in an absolute joke of a backline set-up and a few absentees (most notably Brock Mclean, Jarrod Rivers and Clint Bizzell). Melbourne never ceases to be able to disappoint.

I agree with you, the Dogs play as unaccountable as we do. If White plays a blinder and the midfield dominates we are every chance.melbournemartin said:okay, im going to play the devils advocate and disagree with you guys and your dim view of the season ahead and next weeks game
the dogs play a fast, agressive, free flowing type of game. we are good at that and can almost match them
tonight, we played a flooding, slow, stop start game and we suck at that, nearly always have.
if it gets into a shootout vs the dogs we stand a chance. far from favourites but stand a chance.
as for tonight, worst game ive seen melbourne play since well 2003 most likely, cant remember a specific game but there was bound to be one.

They didn't just get West and Cooney in the offseason, these players aren't new to the club. The Bulldogs play a brand of football very similar to Melbourne's in that there is very little defensive pressure.Saint said:They do have West and Cooney in the middle, hard at it and first to the pill, will tear apart the Dees mids if they play like yesterday. If that happens, then I wouldn't be surprised if they do to Melb what they did to the Tiges.
