Honestly what's the point....
Why didn't the winning team coach at half time offer to mix up the teams?
percentage is important.

I genuinely want to know what the losing coach thought the "positive signs" were.
lmao at the losing coaches cliche comments.

At least it was over in half an hour...I played in a lightning carnival team that lost by 150 points in two 15 minute halves. That was a tough game.
Some media ( Channel 7?) promoting this is a good story.
I think the opposite . Its terrible
. I dont know much about the league/teams involved but country footy is in big big trouble when things like this happen. Can destroy clubs and communities
if only cloke had got his deserved free kicks then the smythies could have wonUmpiring costs Smythsdale.
I want to know who was the Gordon player whose opponent kicked a goal?
Surely he's looking at a stint in the reserves or a bench/vest start next game!!!
My memory is a little hazy but there was a game Footscray v Carlton at the Western Oval in mud and rain. Carlton only kicked one goal, late in the game. I think it was Mark Arceri and Super McPherson was that pissed that he looked like the wanted to rip someone's head off and eat it.
I can't resist humblebragging here that my team meanwhile got promoted to the second division, and the percentage we gained from that game qualified us for finals where we managed to win the grand final after finishing fourth on the ladder.

The poor Roosters were struggling to field a team in all three grades at home, and a lot of players they did have in the lower grades simply refused to travel to Melbourne to play.Geelong West at Williamstown on 23/7/1983 (U19 3rds VFA Game)
