Hill V Rich

I know they're both very early into their careers, Fremantle did cop a lot about this pick though. So If you had the choice to draft one to your club, who?

Both have looked great early, Rich just in front at this stage, but I'd take Hill, would suit our gameplan perfectly. Reminds me of a young Peter Matera, when he puts a bit of size on, he will be an absolute force.

Right now Rich probably edges out Hill, but the upside of Hill is much greater and will be a better player on the long run once he bulks up.

If you could have just one you would take Rich but both look like great long term prospects. Hill reminds me a bit of a young Adam Goodes.

Rich is going to disappoint and not be anywhere as good as many thought he would be.

Will still be a solid player but that's about it imo.

I would take Hill. I hold them both in high regard. Just think Hill will do more exciting things.

Pre draft I was comparing Rich to Luke Power with a 60m kick, I'm finding it really hard to deviate from that because I just don't see him being the Voss/Hird/Judd/Cousins/Mitchell/Sewell type to really take the game on - reliably use the strong body to get the ball moving forward.

Stephen Hill is looking like he will reach the very upper levels that his talent will allow and also have an awesome defensive side to his game, I would find it bloody hard to to take Rich over him. Full skill set, very clean hands, great pace and a long damaging left foot kick.

I think Hill suits Freo more than what Rich would.

Hill's running ability at subiaco will make him a very hard player to stop.

Not to say that Rich won't be a good player or would struggle at subiaco, but Hill is better suited to the open space in perth.
