Looking at the replay, he was clearly going for the chest mark, he realised he wasn't going to take the mark so braced himself for impact. The issue was that he then preceeded to increase the force into Bartel by moving is arm outward, it looked worse than it was, great result. Good to see the tribunal can distinguish between hard football and malice football.

I don't every think that a player should be penalised when he is playing the ball (as Hille was) but it looked horrible and on the knee jerk policy of the MRP it should have gotten weeks.

Didn't surprise me TBH, Hille had a clean record going into the tribunal and came out with a clean record by the end of it.

The guy was clearly going for a mark and had to protect himself in the split second that he had, was calm and clear as usual when he was reported, as he had already known he had done nothing wrong.

Hille's a good guy and a leader, he isn't the type to do things like that.

Ryder just breathed a sigh of relief.

Will be out to put some icing on the cake by going hard at Freo on Sunday. Sandi won't know what hit him, watch this space!

He was clearly already in the air with his eyes on the ball going for the mark, and last second saw Jimmy coming back to take it... He couldn't really do anything more than what he did.
