Today I did a small skid (20-30 meters) on a one-way back street (I know, dick thing to do but gave in to peer pressure.....). When I got to the end and turned around some old guy was standing out the front of his house further down and called for me to stop. I thought if I stopped instead of ignoring him and driving off, I'd be able to talk him out of calling the police or something (just panicked I guess ) so I did and he gave me a quick lecture about hoon driving and took my number plate. If he calls the cops, what is the likely outcome?

Surely I can't lose my license for one little skid, with no video or photo evidence that I did it?

Has anyone else been done for hoon driving? If so, what was the punishment if there was any and what was it for?
