Or don't we??

Take nothing away from Jazz, great side. I know everyone think Houston are a one man band, the problem is i think the rest of the team knows that.

Yao Ming's got to stop getting by thinking he's kobe Bryant with his jump shots, get to the rim more and realise he's in the playoffs.

Battier needs to lift, and Alston too. Alston definately, our point has been a problem and our scapegoat for a long time now and he's going to have to step up if he wants to stay in houston next season. As much as i like him i think that's what will happen.

Williams is awesome

end rant!

I think the Jazz will win the series. They shouldn't have lost that 1st game and had a good shot at the 2nd game too. They are used to finals ball now too and IMO will take it out in 6 games.

T-Mac and Yao will play well
Rafer will hit open shots
Batman will nail 3s from the corner
Chuck will be praying and getting offensive boards
The Bench will perform
Luther will find his shot
Juwan will realise it's playoff time
Deke will throw some elbows

yep, precisely what I was going to say.

They had control of game one for the first half until a pathetic missed lay-up from Fisher changed the momentum and T-Mac took control.

Didn't see the second game but they were right in that as well.

And seemingly the two games at home they were well in control of.

Game 5 is a massive game for both Houston and the reputation of Tracy McGrady. (not necessarily justified but if he doesn't get out of the first round here the focus will be ridiculous)

All the Jazz done was win their home games, they still need to win a game in Houston which i don't think will happen.
They were well in the first two games, so based on that it is very possible they could win Game 5 or 7 in Houston.

(probably Game 5 is more likely considering that the home team wins like 80% of Game 7's or something ridiculous. anyone know the exact stat?)

What he said.

Mac said it is all on him and there is no doubt about it heading into game 5.

If T-Mac drives hard to the rim Houston win, if he settles for jump shots all night they lose.

yes, I agree.

but why is it not an issue for the rep of Yao? everyone already agrees this is Tmac's team, and they'll blame him (rightly) if it doesn't go their way. but why the free pass for Yao?

I think Jazz in 7. Deron to be the key.

Agree that Yao should come under some scrutiny but I think he will go through his whole career without any.

that makes NO sense.

all the jazz have done is win their home games? what do you think Houston have done then?????????

Yeah it does Crow-Mo,

Houston gets 4 games at home to the Jazz's 3. So he is saying he reckons Utah cant beat Houston at home so the Rockets win 4-3.

I'd like to know why he isnt a dominant rebounder. He has the height and body but has struggled to even get to 10 rebounds this series. :thumbsd:

Yes i no that, but im saying is that Houston don't have a problem because all the jazz done was win in Utah, Houston would have a problem if Utah won in Houston which has not happened.

no. you made the statement in a pejorative sense, when the alternate team had done no more.

that makes no sense.

Seemed pretty clear to me. All the Jazz have done is won at home, and given Houston have more home games in this series, such a pattern continuing = Rockets advance.

Nothing more than that. Bit simplistic I guess, but still relevant after today.

Going to Game 7, seeing as I can't see Houston taking a road game anytime soon.

Boozer is a beast though, Houston haven't found an answer thus far. Just too quick for Yao on offense - beating him out on the cuts and getting his shot off without too many problems. Fair to say he's the only one who's come out consistently to play on a nightly basis thus far. Deron is thereabouts and all, but Booze is the key.

Yes i no, but all utah did was win at home, i no thats all houston have done aswell but thats all they have to do. Therefore Houston don't have a problem which was the point i was trying to make.

It's not as though Houston have had complete control during those home game stretches though.

Utah have been (almost humourously) wasteful down the stretch.
