Never owned a single Apple product. Used an iRiver MP3 player for years and now just use my Samsung Galaxy 2 for everything.

Apple products = pay double for something that can do half as much

Got an original ipod nano many years ago, was never overly impressed.

Then my work went apple and gave me an iphone, ipad and MacBook Pro.


Love, love them all! Fully converted now. Love the simplicity of the systems and how well they work together.
Will be staying with apple for a while now.

What didn't impress you?

I was very impressed that you could drag a file from your computer onto this 'thing*' and it would play your music in Crystal clear sound. Before my nano, I think i was still using the old tape deck or portable CD players and that would skip every step, so the adaption of it not skipping impressed me straight away.

* at the time, I had no idea what one was, what a MP3 file was or how they worked. I was basically talked into buying one and told to trust her it will be awesome. I was 100% certain that their was no way all of my music get onto that. I said, look how big my walkman is and compare it to that, how are 350 music files going to fit on to that. Now my Samsung Galaxy holds like 6000 sings.

I've got mine for work, but if I didn't need it for that, it would be hard to justify a use for it.

Apart from Words with Friends.

I have one of the original iPod nanos (still using it too), an iPhone 3 and now a macbook pro. Im an apple fan but im not hysterical about having the latest equipment. I must admit I love my macbook pro, one of the biggest selling points is its long-life battery!! I am still trying to get my head around it, almost 11 months later, but I dont really use it for much other then internet browsing and word etc.

I cant justify an iPad because I dont know why I need one or how I would use one. I have the words with friends app, but no friends on it so it remains unused!!
