Thought it might be interesting to see how the "so-called" expert predictions were going in regard to all matters SUPERCOACH. Include source of all predictions please...

Listed under "Buy 'Em"

Kirk Tippett: "Not cheap at $425,900 but can play. A great contested mark, he is the key forward target the Crows have been crying out for. Potential superstar. Can also be picked as a ruckman"

Source: SC Little Black Book pg. 27

after dropping that much i'll be keeping him as my second ruck...he'll come good when the crows come good. they're too good to be down this long!

Listed under Bury 'em

Nick Malceski: "It seems the dashing half-back will never return to the height he reached before wrecking his knee two years ago. In and out of the side last year, he managed more than 70 points just three times in 12 appearances.

Little Black Book page 86

So glad I didn't follow this advice. Had eski from day 1. I'm sure there are a few "predictions" on this board in recent times which perhaps could be exposed.....

BTW, would love to know who wrote that little black book.

In their defense...

it's not like anyone expected him to put out what he's putting out. It's not like he was destined to go down.

I think it was a bad call in hindsight, but you can't control the future. I had him in my team for exactly the same reason. Sure, he's putting out crap, but the signs weren't pointing to it, so it's unfair to condemn the Hun telling people to get Tippett.

Oh the irony.

Agreed there mate... BUT, in the same regard... wtf with Mal'ski??? He looked like he was set for a ripper year after over coming his knee and having some young blood (haha, pardon the pun) around things were looking good pre-season but they put him in the bury 'em list???

I guess it's hard to look at every player and make a decision so early on... but some picks in that "guide" were (imo) just useless crap 2BH.

Malceski was definately a bad call, any way you look at it. So was Eddie Betts, when you think about it.

After looking at the Prospectus and this forum for a couple of months before the Little Black Book came out, then following NAB Cup scores, I found that it was pretty much no help at all.
It's a good thing to bring out by the H-S but it's probably more beneficial for kids and newcomers to the game who will finish somewhere between 20,000 and 320,000 who put their team together in about 20 minutes.
