Simple, Richmonds list out of 10?

For me it is 0.

They have absolutely nothing to show for Wallet's appointment except a whole world of pain coming their way.

FB -Gasper is a hack who will retire this year

CHB - Bowden or PolHACK who is a JOKE

Centre - Coughlan injured seriously / Kane Johnson finished.

CHF - Richo. He's a 103 and will retire in the next year or two MAX.

FF - Kingsley LOL.

Tambling a dud.

Oakleigh-Nicholls a dud.

Deledio good but can't carry this joke of a team.

Actually I will give them 1/10 because of Deledio.

They've got some good kids in Deledio, Polo, Raines, Hartigan, etc. but it's hard to see them making finals.

I think we need a poll on the Pies list - it really does look terrible e.g. V North. The lack of talent and upside among the Pies younger players is going to be a major problem over the next 5 years or so. The list management problems at Pie land still have not been sorted it seems. :)

I gave them a 5, i think they will finish bout 9, so thats about half way. I think Nathen brown will be back to his best and with there good kids, they will be ok.

Nathan Foley proved why he was on par wth Chris Judd for most amount of clearances/ground time average last season :thumbsu:

Foley is a dead set gun who will be our best midfielder by mid-season! His added muscle (+6kgs!), his impressive speed (3rd in GF sprint) and wonderful foot skills combined with his intense work ethic equals a potential superstar midfielder on our hands.

The Cats would of beaten any team in the comp yesterday with their speed and hitting targets, I am pleased we outran them, out-played them and beat them in the 2nd half.

Oh and H2F, in your next attempt please leave out JON (we've gone through this) and please use some more logic in your next attempt as Graham Polak was very good - 21 possessions, 6 marks and looked very calm, polished and skillful (unlike Gaspar). I don't mind the odd Hawks troll on our list but they are not effective if it is just plain wrong (it doesn't evoke an emotional response).

I think your right parrott.

To solve the problem they should take the easy way out and tank for the next 3-4 years like Carlton, then call their recruiting manager a genius for picking all these stars.

speaking of tanking ... how are Griffen, Cooney, Williams and Ray going ?

Actually I you only outplayed the cats in the last quarter when their foot eased up off the pedal.

Foley is ordinary. I just can't believe you're trying to talk him up. I guess there ain't much on your list. I'm starting to question whether the Tiges will be even good enough to achieve their traditional mid-ladder finish. 2007 could be a very bleak year for the Tiges. Relying on a 34yo KP forward with chronic soft tissue injuries was always going to be a risk. Terry should have had Lance Franklin and Sellar playing in his forward line yesterday. What an unbelievable string of draft gaffs. :)

Fair call Astro but i think you are giving the baggers way too much credit by saying they tanked..

They didnt tank, their list just reeked , no need to tank when you are that bad, you are going to lose games anyway.

But back to the poll, Tigers 3/10, huge improvement on previous years i would say but still flipping ordinary

Let's face it, the cats played with you in the second half. If you want to see where the tigers are really at, concentrate on the first half.

Yes you have a few players to come back but no-one who is going to have a profound impact. From what i saw yesterday Richmond's problems are the same as ever.....blokes who make bad decisions, inability to put physical pressure on the opposition, poor key defenders, and midfielders that miss targets all around the ground.

Listening to Wallet when they crossed to him during the match, he simply waffled with Terry-speak. I don't know about everyone else, but I am sick to death of him wanting to get his ugly mug on TV and offering words of wisdom on every matter relating to football. Give it a break Terry.

Let's keep this thread on topic, which is about Richmond. I'm sick of parrot turning every thread into a circle-jerk about the dual wooden spooners.

In addition to my earlier post, the Tiges have Shane Tuck, who is a ball magnet, Nathan Brown looks to have come back in good shape, and Troy Simmonds who is one of the league's best ruckmen. Connors was highly rated leading up to the draft and Reiwoldt could turn out to be a really good player for them. Polak is a talent and former #4 pick, who could turn his career around at the Tiges, a la Simmonds. I would have liked the Pies to pick him up, to be honest.

I'd give them a 5/10.

good honest post, personally i think our list is underrated but thats understandable, richmond have to prove themselves.
Polo and Foley go alright as well :thumbsu:

I had Polo in my first post, sorry I didn't have time to give it enough thought first time around. :)
