How do you rate Voss

Just interested now to see how St Kilda supporters rate Brett Voss, has opinions changed, do people still think he is lucky to be in the team, is he going to be on the list next year, could he be traded. What is your opinion?

He really has lifted in recent weeks.

Voss has definatly come about reciently since playing against his brother. If he keeps playing like this there is no way u could drop the bloke from the team. He also uses his brain a lot better... trade him? i really dont think so...

Voss has played himself on to the list for next year.

He played all 22 games last year which is only all the more meritorious when you consider he was suffering from osteitis pubis.

This season he started off slowly, went back to the VFL to regain some form, before returning and being absolutely brilliant. His ability to read the flight of the ball to spoil and mark kicks that look certain to be marked by the opposition is uncanny. His courage is first class and he has definitely earned himself a new contract and deserves a lot of credit.

He's a very handy player who has played very well for the team in the last few weeks. His marking skills are very good and this makes him a great player to have playing down back.

Brett seems to have broken through some personal barrier and stepped up. The game against Brisbane seemed to give him the confidence to trust his own judgement and it has worked wonders. He has evolved from one of our maginal (GOP) players into a certain first 22. I would rate him as top 10 at the moment and looking good to play a major part in St Kilda's defence.

We have good defenders, now we have to meld them into a good defence.

Brett's one weakness is that he is sometimes not accountable for his direct opponent.

I had big doubts about him before, but he's been great since the Brisbane game. He always seems to be there to take marks in the backline.

Outside of Hamill, Riewoldt and Harvey, I'd have him first on the teamsheet.
