I know I can't type, it is a skill I never leaned and it was not considered a suitable thing to teach boys when I was growing up. I can tap away with two fingers at 33 WPM.

I would have been a lot faster had the sentences made meaningful sense....That's just the way my brain works.....But a bunch of jumbled words crammed together, making zero sense or meaning had me stuffed from the beginning.

But I find it slightly harder on average because of the fact that errors have to be corrected in order to move forward, and because of the punctuation/symbols

When it comes to speed typing, it's more about the care-factor....I type at just the right pace for my brain.....Which may well be full-slow.

But if I were to extract the digit, 40 words per minute would be shacking in it's boots.....Don't you worry about that.

I notice that none of you are putting your accuracy up. Typing fast is no good if it's not accurate. I think the generally accepted accuracy is 98%.

I put the accuracy in my posts (which you liked)

This website accounts for accuracy though (ie accounts for having to correct typos , even if you didn’t do it in the practice )
