How good is it when you're actually confident as the ball is getting kicked to a one-on-one contest in our forward line?

How good is it when you have a key forward kicking from outside 50 in a pressure situation and he doesn't attempt to pass it off, instead takes the responsibility himself?

How good is it when you know your ruckman is going to get his hand on the ball first?

"I thought their (the Cats') use of their tall forwards hurt us. I think they got more out of theirs than we did." - Mark Williams

havent heard that in a while.
the forward structure of playfair at CHF taking the contested marks and giving off assists, ottens taking the big marks deep in the forward line, kingsley giving a good leading option and kicking 3 goals a game, and then the small medium size forwards in chapman ablett gardiner etc all contributing now looks like a genuine forward capable of winning big games.

As I said on CC,he's worth the 4 million a year. :D

I had a really strange feeling halfway through the game.

Our forward talls of Ottens, Playfair and Kingsley looked dangerous.
They were taking contested marks and kicking goals.

It was exciting when the ball was kicked long down there, not frustrating like so often before.

They looked like a normal forward line!

And when Ottens went back to kick that goal from 50 in the last minutes of the game - I actually felt confident he would nail it.

Weird feeling. Haven't felt that was in years.

I can honestly say i've never felt as confident in a shot for goal as i did with Otten's two from 50+ in the second half.

Ottens is money.

It's the Big H who I've been impressed with. Haven't seen the game yet but the stats don't look too bad - taking plenty of marks.

H was Ok, not as good as he was last week but still played a pretty good game although it seemed to me he would have been a hell of a lot better if he didn't go to ground as much.

Its fantastic. Better than watching a tentative Ben Graham.

How much better will it be if King ever gets back to his AA form?

That's a fair point. We're beating top-four sides with King, Harley and Scarlett woefully out of form, Dog Johnson out of the side and various injuries to Mooney, Sanderson, Wojcinski and Koulouriotis. These are all top 22 players. If Scarlett, Harley and King get back to anywhere near their best, we will be a damn good side.

We're lucky our list has more depth than the Mariana trench.

His mark in the first half down in the goalsquare is mark of the year!

:)
Has to be one of the strongest marks I've ever seen.
