How is Kade Simpson going

He is one player I will be watching in the NAB CUP. Would love to hav e him down at the cats. I am interested to know if he has had an uninterupted preseason or not.

He started his pre-season late because he went over to Ireland but from all reports he is another Blue training the house down

He hasn't had an interrupted preseason, but as has been said, he started late due to his commitments to the Australian team in Ireland.

Always trains hard, so will be looking for another big year.

In a few years, the vice-captaincy being his is not out of the question.

BIG BIG FAN of simmo's saw him play for the blueants in 06 and was impressive, then to watch the way he stepped up last season, i was not suprised. love him. so quick and so fit.

Exactly. They can't tag all of our midfielders. There will always be at least one or two that will run a muck!!

That might be the case, but Stevens will still get the oppositions best tagger. Then they will have to work out if they want to tag Simmo or Murph, and that still leaves Walks and Gibbs to run around in the midfield.

We've potentially got 5 A-grade mids on our list at the minute, and I can't say how delighted I am that we have that sort of talent at our disposal.

Love it...I was just thinking about the opposition tagging our best midfielders. Maybe not from the beginning of this season, but near the end we should have Murphy, Walker, Simpson, Stevens, and maybe even Gibbs running in the middle. Surely they won't have that many taggers to control our players. Don't forget others like Scotland and Lappin, even Blackwell will play supporting roles in the guts. Opposition coaches aren't going to have a clue who to tag-and I love it!
