yes he did and he said it will be done privately and announced when they are ready. It seems KT and Ken are sick of the media focus and rumour milling about coaches and players.

I had the same feeling about the Koch talk. Gary Lyon didn't seem interested about a rift. He thinks presidents say stuff, so what. And Cochrane would be even more of a pest.

I did like the snippet of Ken's presser where he had a crack about talk of Dixon being overpaid. Almost cracked his casual facade.

I have no doubt in my mind that all the players are hurting badly, and have been depressed all day just like us fans. But hurting and being mentally strong enough to overcome a huge set back are two different things.

I ******* hope they do overcome it, but how many times have we failed the last few years when we have been challenged. Just because they are new players doesn't mean they will be good enough to overcome it. Look who is going to lead them out of the desert? Nah Barass played on Marshall about 90% of the time and McGovern played on one of the short people Impey/Sam Gray/Neade/Wingard and as they were up the ground helping out the mids McGovern just zoned of and intercepted dumb bombs inside 50m in general and the odd one to Marshall.

I inadvertently caught a bit of Sunrise this morning and they are pushing the "Gold Coast are chasing Hinkley" line as well. Just because the media are pushing this story doesn't make it true.
