How long do Kochie and Thomas wait?

Are you f**king serious? Please tell me that last paragraph is you channeling Kochie.

I would rather dive forehead first into a thumbtack from four stories up than barrack for that court born, scum sucking, swamp dwelling bunch of motherf**kers. Last night ends my involvement (and care factor) with AFL until next year, except anyone but those wankstains winning the Premiership
I think it's a joke

Alyx thanks for your post, i share your sentiments and get frustrated by the negativity and blame game directed imo unfairly a lot of the time. I too will support the crows and hope they get the flag. The carry on about mediocrity imo some of the comments just reflect on some posters. Obv the coaches and players are very disappointed, only they know the energy, efforts etc been made and some appreciation of this could well be recognised.

Hahahahahahahahaha

I don't know how this guy survives beyond Constanza meme week.

Always look on the bright side of life is ob not your motto. Is your life that bad in retrospect

We're talking about a billion dollar industry where individuals are being paid 6 and sometimes 7 figures per annum to deliver results, not shrugging our shoulders and clapping our hands while saying 'go Panthers'.

Sliding doors question ... If we had taken one of those chances, let's say the Geelong game...

Would we have played Marshall, Howard, Johnson, Bonner? And which would be the better position to be in now?

Not singling you out, it was just your question prompted that thought in my still delirious brain.

It's hard to say. Towards the end of 2015 and 2016 we went to the Butcher well and gave the likes of Palmer, Bonner, Snelling a run. All performed pretty well in trying circumstances. As a forced measure Austin looked as impressive in defence as Howard does now.

This year Houston got an early run which was a pleasant surprise, and then a little bit into this year we flirted with our Jekyll-form by selecting guys like White and Toumpas on what has to be classed a whim despite everything pointing to it being a glorious failure amidst going full-Hyde.

The Impey-Young-Neade merry-go-round continued unabated.

The Trengove experiment and belated abandonment was just weird.

What does this mean, I don't really know, but I feel like there was enough there to profit now while building for the future had we found the mix on time - everyone's high on Richmond and they're probably going to make a Grand Final(!!!!!111) but man-for-man, only a defender of Rance's calibre is something we don't have.

Is he serious? The kids were great.

Remember, it was the older heads who let us down Kochie.

He couldn't whack the senior players after they sooked up last time, could he.

Wish he'd doubled-down and told them all to sack up instead of capitulating.

A bit of a reindeer transfer by Kochie there.

"If they're not prepared, if they're just playing for us because they love to play AFL, they're not players we want. If they're not prepared to win a premiership for this club, we basically don't want them, let us know and we'll trade them."

Just let us know guys. Let us know if you're only here for the lols and we'll give you the flick.

Sound fair?

Surely it's the club's job to decide who's up to the challenge and who's not and then act accordingly? Not the other way around.

Be nice if for once ken had some balls, right or wrong in a presser. When asked about the free, rather than tongue the balls of the afl, how about, we know that isnt a free. They changed the rules on shrugging a tackle to make it go high, but umpires make mistakes like we did. Let them know that you know it was wrong rather than continually being mr nice guy/club and gargling on the load of the afl.

Agree with most of what you say, the coaches have to identify any player who isn't there for the right reasons, the chances of a player admitting it, are zero, sfa, and nada.

No that's a cop out.

We're 5 years in to this regime. They should know who's serious and who's not by now and actually do something about it instead of shirking the responsibility.

More to the point. 7 years on and we are still dean laidley peeling the onion.wav.

Ok iam a paid footballer who is playing guess what a game of footy. I am about to enter a contest situation, so i do a quick mntal calc of being paid x dollars and what this means to winning the contest or not. So how does the 6 7 figure equate to the myriad of decisions of aplayer on game day. Please explain?

That's not what I'm saying. I'm saying this is elite professional sport and your constant gee shucks/fiddlesticks takes on our habitual failures doesn't really mesh with what's required for Port Adelaide to be, you know, Port Adelaide.

Thundercloud is an alias. Probably best we stop responding to him.

He jumped the shark with the alyx response.
