Unbelievable Tom Jones to tried to argue that he never intended to strike Gaff because Shes A Lady, he had no option but to protect him self and brace for contact knowing that Its Not Unusual for Gaff to destroy his opponents leaving them in a heap on the Green Green Grass Of Home.

Really liked the boys flying the flag and coming down on him like Sixteen Tons especially Schofield walking him like a dog it must have been Funny Familiar Forgotten Feelings for Jonas having done this before.

If i Only Knew that the flog was going to commit this filthy act i would have been there Burning Down The House, he will get what is coming to him One Day Soon until then he should Keep On Running.

I hate all clubs that aren't the Eagles but I can see where you're coming from with Adelaide. We beat them in two Prelims in a row, the Walsh/Pyke connection, Woosha and Glass were there too, they have an annoying little brother down the road, and Modra played for them.

I think when you compare it with May it's about right.

May - 5 weeks for the offence, less a week for the guilty plea, add a week for a bad record = 5 weeks.
Jonas - an extra week for being intentional vs careless, no discount for an early plea, no bad record = 6 weeks.

I don't think you can compare them. One is a footy player making a split second decision to go the bump and getting along with the rest of the body his head. The other is a; frustrated can't get to the contest whack a mole. IMO its not just the intentional that should be the difference (I would argue that the diff between that should be greater than a week) but that he just smashed a bloke in the back of the head without the footy being in question.

I can understand how they arrived at 6 under their system its just to me this is more than just a footy transgression in the heat of the moment.

There's a big difference between a bump (like Mays) and a strike with the fist or elbow.

Its much harder to try and claim a fist or elbow is careless rather than intentional. A fist or an elbow is a conscious act that is committed with forethought. Where as a high bump is often something that just happens in play, and happens to slip high and get someone in the head
