A damn site luckier than Herman Rockefeller.

Actually my feel goodiness about this has waned since reading that the dog was sited before but they let it go without making further efforts to save it. Tony Bullimer was good enough to go after, the hapless dog must be.

True, I'm sure it would have been a lot easier to rescue it from a river, than the middle of the ****ing ocean. :mad:

At least he's safe now, must be a real fighter to survive so long. :thumbsu:

How do you know that? The river might have been flowing quite fast - there was obviously ice on the river, perhaps the boats couldn't get to it. Why get mad - you have no idea of the circumstances surrounding the events.

Polish firefighters first witnessed the trapped dog on the Vistula River but were unable to rescue it before it floated away.

Seems to me the intent would have been there perhaps not but the means.
