A bit to early to pedict, once i see him in the nab cup i will have a better view. If i had to predict how many, i will say 60-80.

I don't think he'll be playing as a pure FF, given the way Lucas played last year close to goal, and the emergence of CJ, I suspect he'll rotate a bit. And a lot depends on the quantity & quality of our midfield's delivery.

I suspect 60-80 will be the result.

if fevola could kick 80+ goals last season then i cant see why lloyd couldnt either.

but the trick is to get lloyd kicking the goals as well as lucas not dropping to far behind his last season either. Say 50+.

let's hope the recent twinge on the 'good' hammie and the resultant marred pre-season doesn't affect him too much.

I have a feeling it will have an impact. He's had 12 months off footy and needed a full pre-season.

Having said that, he'll still be worth his weight in gold, but I'm only predicting 50-55 goals. With the tall timber surrounding him, however, this would still represent a tremendous input and make a big difference to our season.

He's trained pretty much non-stop, at full pace since August last year.

I don't think a few weeks of light duties will do him any harm. Infact it could do him some good.

Yeh good stuff; I was just reading the website, and Lloydy expressed those exact sentiments.

That's great, and you're right, it will freshen him up. My concern was around the fact that no matter how much training you do, it's not the same as match fitness. But as you say, he's been working it, and match fitness will come when he plays matches, if he has the base :thumbsu:
