Because I'm a few months shy of 23 and I feel like I've well and truly passed the "young" stage of my life. Most of the athletes out there my age are into their prime and I suppose because I follow a few different sports thats the gauge I use.

So, do you consider yourself old (or at least, not young) and at what age would you say the defintion of young ends?

"Young" is comparative. I still consider myself to be young (turned 23 a couple of months ago), but it does seem odd to look at footy players' profiles to find established stars who are younger than I am :o. When did that happen?

Also, I would not consider someone in their early 30's to be young, but people of an older generation probably would.

at 15, i definently see myself as young.
stop being young when you get married and start a family and start having the responsibilities, or 30...whichever comes first

25 and younger. I don't feel my age. I'm 19 and feel 15. Feels like yesterday I was 15.

Im 21 this year and i still cant believe im over 18, i still street drink, go over mates house to play games, think my band will get big(jeez ild die happy just gigging regulary), read comics, play ping pong in the garage, live with my parents(hopefully by 22 i plan to buy a small house with my girlfriend) ill never stop being young:cool:

high school kids = young disrespectful punk arse kids.

young adults 19-22 = young punks who think they know everything.

23-28 = young punks in their prime who get all the women.

28-30 = mature

30-35 = has been (if they're lucky)

35+ = mobile phone in a puch on your belt. t-shirt tucked into shorts. "Young punks these days have no respect, I think we should have national service to harden them up". "Where's my slippers?"

so at my age i think i know everything?
that has got to be the stupidest ****ing thing i ha..... ohh..
no, your dead right, carry on :)

you forgot, run 3klm time trial in 11min 08 sec. well that's me anyway, how many of you "young punks" could beat that? as for the 28-30 mature, **** me you're miles off there, 23-28 "get all the women", that should start around 17-18 unless you've got a head like a busted arse it's not hard to pull women around that age.

You're as old as the woman/man you feel.

Young is not an age, it's a thirst for life, for knowledge and looking ahead and seeing life. I myself (Am 19) see myself as "old" now because i always dwell on the past, where i went wrong, how things screwed up and stuff.

When you get married, have kids, get divorced, have responsibilities- that's when you start to feel old.

Enjoy it while you're young, kids! Not that you can't have fun when you're older, but it's a different type of fun.

As soon as you stop learning, innovating, improving, growing and having fun you're old. Keep doing all those things and age really is just a number. At least that's what I tell myself with my 29th birthday approaching fast.

A good quote on that...

"You don't stop playing games because you get old, you get old because you stop playing games".

That's not the impression I get. Sounds like you're trying to hard to prove that you are "young". Clearly you're an old has-been.

Wearing your mobile on your belt yet?

No need to shed a tear.

you can judge for yourself champ, i arrive in RADelaide (lol) on business tomorrow morning 8am, i've got a hire car booked but you can come down and pick me up instead, happy to compare notes then.
