Surely a loss this weekend is a coach killer? Very doubtful especially with Fyfe back... but one has to wonder.

Jaymie Graham would take over the reins if that happened right?

It will be a wet game to

Cockburner's game to lose

They dropped Brodie and Sturt and kept Banfield and Hughes in the team 🤣

Nope Justin Longmuir won't be sacked regardless of the hawks vs Freo result.

Longmuir is contracted until the end of2024.

At worst he stays from now until the end of this 2023 season

With Freos past history of knifing coaches I wouldn’t at all be confident with that statement.
How so? Look at all the coaches Freo has sacked since I followed Freo in 2001....

Damien drum : sacked in mid 2001 when dockers were 0-9

Chris Connolly: sacked or quit when Freo were like 6-9 in mid 2007. Mark Harvey took over the last 7 games won 4 and lost 3.

Mark Harvey: sacked at the end of 2011. Was 9-6 looked like making finals. Lost the last 7 games and end up 9-13.

Ross Lyon: sacked in 2019. Sacked with a 1 game to go with a 9 win and 12 loss record.

So yeah not since 2001 when we sacked a coach before half the season done.

Not since 2007 since we sacked the coach well before the season ended

I kinda thought if you lose to the hawks at home you’d be happy to see the back of him rather than defending his tenure.

Longmanure's game to lose today

2-5 in a promised top 4 season

At home against the tied bottom team

Ah, another one of those fools that thinks free kicks should be equal each game.

Ever thought that one team may be more disciplined or first to the ball?

Not to #dishonestdan , he believes free kicks in each game should be equal. If that is your belief than why not do away with free kicks?

No way

Just Cockburn relies on their massive umpire carry they've had since Gil's mate took charge at Cockburn

On the upside Bailey Banfield kicked 2 and has solidified his spot in the starting 22

So your point is if those free kick numbers were reversed it would have been a 70+ point turnaround?

Interesting.

Well after an umpire lead training run against the bottom team yesterday the COLA Bloods look like an even easier task next week for Longmanure after their shocking display today

So you've changed your mind, if those free kick numbers were reversed it WOULD have been a 70+ point turnaround?

I didn't say that

I said Cockburn has been receiving a massive umpire carry since Garlick took over as he is mates with Gil

The game against the bottom team opened up with 2 flops for 2 free goals

Cockburn has to rely on goal supply from the umpires every week
