Out of those 23 dockers that played in that 2022 elim final vs the dogs, there were like 7 blokes aged 21 or younger.

2 of them was 19 years old. One was Brandon Walker. The other was Jye Amiss in his 2nd AFL game.

2 of them were 20 year olds. Which was Heath Chapman and Nathan O driscoll.

3 of them were 21 year olds. Jordan Clark, Hayden Young and Caleb Serong.

Only Young and Serong were Vics the other 5 are WA kids.

Yeah but you’ve been exposed of relying heavily on Lobb, Acres and Logue to pull you through often after losing them and going backwards again. Now you’re just a mid table battler with a crap Forwardline and a average midfield.

Yes Lobb, Acres, Meek, Logue and Tucker were traded out.

Lobb was heavily relied upon? yes he kicked 36 goals last season. So why did they trade in a 21 or 22 year old Luke Jackson? We aint gonna rely on Lobb forever. Dockers in 2012-15 finals era relied on an ageing pav to kick goals.

Also, dockers do have some young tall forwards... Amiss, Traecy and even Sam Sturt are all 192 cm or taller.

Acres? Solid player. But come on he isnt winning a brownlow medal or Getting all australian selections isnt he? I like Acres. He is solid. But he isnt the equivalent of you guys losing a Judd Or Cousins or even a Michael Braun or Daniel Chick at the end of 2007.

Meek is probably the one I would of loved to have kept on freos list in 2023. He is a solid Jono Griffin type back up ruck.

Logue? Well he was playing up forward in that 2022 elim final. yeah he was a defender. but that back 6 was settled when freo played well and had few injuries.

Darcy Tucker was a solid depth mid. Even if he was on freos list in 2023, he would play 8-10 games this season and leave as a free agent.
