I wasn’t referring to Reid specifically of course, although credit should be given to Rohan for the resolve shown not to cave under a mountain of pressure from the VIC media and Cockburn bedwetters to split the pick for fear of another Eagles dynasty.

It’s the magic of trading up for Hall, as well as splitting for Ginbey and Hewett, which needs to recognised for putting together a combination that will be dominating the competition for the next decade.

Absolutely, and to think the media was harping on about how much of a loss Henry was, Sharp is an upgrade.

Those guys aren’t rejects though, I think you’ll find the Sun’s preference was to actually keep hold of them, apart from Will Brodie.

Jeremy Sharp is a Gold Coast reject. He was delisted.

Id be worried if I were a Failmantle fan - now you’re starting to build a collection of rejects from bottom of the table clubs. Interesting strategy, don’t reckon it’s going to pay off.
