I hate the player rumours

But I am pragmatic enough to realise that there are some players on the Carlton list that I like that probably arent going to be there when Carlton gets #17.

I have enjoyed watching Bentick play but I believe that his time at the club is coming to an end and he will possibly be the player involved in bringing Ray to the blues.

I dont think that Setanta is going to be going anywhere as next year he is going to be a required player in our backline and if Aisake does get released and goes back to Ireland then Setanta might get his head back in line again and become the monster masher we all know and love.

Saying that, Aisake as trade bait might be a possibility but I would like to see him pull his head in and knuckle down and start getting a couple of games at the club.

I dont think that Fish or 1AW are going to be traded, but it is Friday morning and someone might come up with an awesome offer for them and then they would be gone.

Saying that as well, I think that the brains trust are going to be looking at the progress of one J Kennedy over the next 12 months and we might be looking at him coming back and wearing the navy blues... which would kind of prove that the rumours about his going with the promise that if it didnt work out for him over the 2 years, we would get him back to the club come hell or high water.

I am looking forward to reading the foxsport and realfooty sites in the morning and seeing what trades have actually happened.

Certainly a very unusual time of the year for the entire AFL system, when dealing in rumour and inuendo is the norm. Can be an interesting week at times, but more often than not turns out to be a highly frustrating week. Thank goodness it's all over in 3.5 hours.
