I recorded the game again, to have a look at things after the dust had settled......
We were robbed of decisions early in the 1st quarter, particularly the Foley non handball, Gerard and co reckon it was a handball should've been in our favour - this gave F****in' Otto a shot 10 metres out. We were off and running in the other direction only to be halted for an incorrect decision.

There was no lack of trying... the knobs in green took the game away in the 1st 10 minutes.

Our boys were trying.... just light framed compared to the up and running pussies. (they were going to spank whoever came up against them, we just got them on a bad night)

So you really think the umpires had something to do with the most inept performance I have seen since I had to watch my side get beaten by your lot in 1996 - big call.....

The whole team (other than Foley) was reactive rather than proactive. That was our problem.
Once Geelong kicked the first six or seven, players stood around and waited to tackle. What I mean is that 21 players in our team waited for a Geelong player to get the ball before doing something. I honestly don't think it was laziness, it was just a shellshocked reaction.
Countless times I saw three or four Tiger players and one or two Geelong players at a contest. The Tiger players waited for a Geelong player to get the ball because they were shellshocked into believing that it was inevitable that would happen. Once the Geelong player gained possession, competiveness automatically kicked in and the Richmond players tried their backsides off to tackle, but to no avail, because they weren't 100% switched on right from the start. Give a good sprinter a 10m head start in an 80m race and you won't win many races.
Only Foley went in and got his own ball. Why? Because that's what he is. Like a robot he isn't programmed to sit and watch. He goes in and is proactive and couldn't be recative if he tried. It's not in his psyche to sit and wait and see what happens.

Yeah those green maggots. I reckon they were responsible for at least 23 of geelongs goals. :thumbsd:
