since it is a hypothetical anyway, what if swift had no history of injuries?

i know on skills he is rated really high over here and could be the judd of the draft. (big call but i have heard that comparison a couple of times)

if he had no injury cloud would anyone consider him as #1?

just curious cos i think getting him would be a risk with an upside the size of everest if it worked out.

Yeah the same was said about Joel Selwood that he'd be a risk and see how that turned out.

i'd go natanui - i've seen his dodgy phil krakouer style kicking action but he has so much potential as a tap ruckman i just can't go past him. he has the ability to become one of the greatest ruckmen of all time from what i've seen. the way he leaps and puts it down his mids throats is reminiscent of simon madden but more athletic. its scarey to think how dominant this guy could get as a ruckmen if he continues to develop. forget him playing down back or anywhere else - he's a ruckman and thats it.

is it a risky pick - yes but the reward could be golden on the highest level. i wouldn't want to be the recruiter 10 years down the track who didn't take the punt on this kid and look like a fool (what were you thinking not taking him etc...)

Personally, I've rated Naitanui number 1 from the start and I'm pretty happy to stick with him.

What this guy can do out of the middle of the ground is insane. His tackling, speed, agility and leap for a 201cm, 94kg guy has never been seen before.

He's got the potential to be the most impactful player in the game, and that's too much to look over for me.

All 3 have there benifits.

I would love a forward line of Gumbelton at CHF, Watts at FF and Neagle as the 3rd tall.

I doubt any defence could stop all 3.
