Yep freebie quality veterans are always good. I'm just reading some of the posts in here and they were implying that he was there purely as a leader for the young guys and that they got him for that purpose. I think that's being slightly conservative. They would have gotten him due to him being dirt cheap, and also because he's a footballer that will immediately slot into their team and want to play finals. The experience and leadership is a bonus.Well maybe they can make the 8 and hope to make a grand final from there. didn't they get him for free? Besides the salary, I don't see the downside
