NOTE: Clubs that traded draft picks to GWS don't get their pick back in this scenario. Hence, Port Adelaide will have the prized Pick 1. I also made Tom Mitchell eligible to picked up by any club just to make things more intriguing.

Do you think Adelaide would really want a Talia double up?

They lost Phil Davis and Nathan Bock to expansion clubs so recruiting a tall back with their first pick is completely understandable.

Also Ben Rutten is approaching 30..

Seems like a rather pointless exercise. Perhaps you could include an 18 year old Wayne Carey, Leigh Matthews and Gary Ablett into the equation? Maybe also add in University, Fitzroy and South Melbourne?

Yet we still picked Elton. Sick of seeing talls pegged for us when there were good mids and mediums available. Not to mention Kersten and Tomlinson who would be a better fit than Elton.
If I were you, I'd get really angry about it.

You are entitled to your own opinion. In my defense, I see Carlton drafting a tall forward and Todd Elton is the best behind Patton IMO. Tomlinson is hugely overrated because of his versatility. Because you guys went nuts on tall defenders last year, I don't see Calrton reaping the full benefitd from drafting Tomlinson and HENCE went with Elton.

Kersten does not warrant pick 11 and is also horribly undersized.

If the draft wasn't compromised there would also be all the guys that GWS took last year available. They would make a bit of a difference to the strength of the top end of this draft.

That's what I was hoping to find. I'm not too sure what this ranking does given it excludes GWS but then doesn't exclude trading with them. It doesn't include the GWS concessions in the order, but does include father/son picks.

Yeah, no disrespect to the OP, but you've done this whole thing an ass about way.

No GWS means no trading with them and no picks taken last year.

Draft order should be based exactly on final 2011 finishing order, and all of-age talent should be in the pool, whether that means Giles or Treloar.

I'm not too fussed about including father-sons as well, as there is only one decent one this year, but it would be interested to see a non-compromised draft order.

Would love to see someone try this again ...

Very ture, apart from the usual fan fare on Sheil etc, I like Bugg. More a long term prospect, but definately a talent. Hard as nails for a skinny bugger.

You are just angry that you have been exposed as a nuffy. Fair enough, I get that.

Jeez lighten up. The guy makes an effort to do something different and all you want to do is piss on his parade.
