If you could bring one player to your club, who and why?

For me, it's Micheal Voss. Hawthorn could do with a player like him who goes in and gets it, and always has the knack of finding someone, no matter what the situation.

Imagine him and Chick in the same team, the midfield hardness would be immeasurable, and I'm guessing that oppostion midfielders would have bruised kidneys from all the swinging arm tackles

Add Crawf to the mix and we would have the best starting midfield trio in the league.

Matthew Lloyd.

Solves a lot of Carlton's problems at a stroke. Whitnall has support, Fevola is a 3rd option instead of a key forward, Silvagni can stay in the backline, Kouta can play on the ball/wing/in defence if needed.

Lloyd would get pretty good service from Carlton's midfield and also appreciate having a good CHF in front of him instead of Scott Lucas

Michael Voss for me, but I'd happily settle for Primus.

No...Voss is by a superior player to Ricciuto. Nothing against the Roo, but Voss is one of the best midfielders I've ever seen. Big wrap I know, but Hitman is right, he would fit perfectly into the Hawthorn side better than any other player in the competition.

That game he played against us at the Gabba was easily the best game I've seen an opposition player have against us all year.

Wallsy: Well the one player that Fremantle needs is Matthew Knights. No doubt about it.

Caroline: Yeth I have to agwee Wobert. Matthew Knightth ith jutht the thort of talent the thwuggling Dockerth need.

Wallsy: No doubt Caro, having Matthew at the Dockers would give them the added bonus of a pre-made traditional rivalry with the Western Bulldogs.. Fremantle are the only club left who don't have that rivalry.

IMO, a gun key defender will be the difference between us being pretenders or serious contenders over the next couple of seasons -- so either Hay or Fletcher .... but we're not too picky about which end of the field superstars are to play, so Lloyd would also be 'acceptable'

Joe Misiti - the Roos need a close-in midfielder, as they already have guys like King, Pickett, Grant and Simpson who are good second/third touch players.

Justin Leppitsch/Jon Hay - with Mick Martyn's impending retirement a good full-back would be handy, as Shannon Watt is still only 20 and hasn't quite settled in there.

Port need a tall defender who can actually take a mark and also stop his opponent, so I'd take Dustin Fletcher.

Ratten, he learnt from a master (G.Williams) and he could teach to our apprentice (Johnson).

Primus - we will need a star in the Ruck next year when Barnesy gracefully bows out.

im impressed with pavlich. watching him saturday night, the boy can play, and he reads the game extremely well.

his leading is a bit half hearted though. maybe low on confidence? but he can definately take a grab.. and he seems to have the ability to hit the post .. he showed us 3 times i think saturday night.. fantastic.. really kept us in the game!!

also, we need a ruckman desperately... someone like primus would be good, or matty allen.. maybe a bit old, but definately a good ruckman!!

Hmm, tough one. I think id take either Matty Lloyd as the Eagles can never kick a winning score and with Lloyd he almost guarantees you 4 or 5 a game. Or Hay, McIntosh is almost gone so we will need a ready made running Full Back.
