Don't worry about hindsight heroes champ, didn't see many others willing to have a crack at a draft that early in the year

Only their "live picks" count, the ones they got awarded for their ladder position, i.e #3 and #26 all thier othe rpicks which where all compo's can not be taken into account for Father Son selection

Its all on salary at the new club and a little bit of games played and draft position
The afl have fairly soft rules so they can gift teams like Melbourne the help they need
I think their reason was
He's on massive money
he was a number one draft pick very recently
and has played a lot of games for his short career

Plus Melbourne need all the help they can get
