I'm building a house in Beaconsfield on an old cro market garden. The missus was with me a month back and the old owners (this 90 year old couple) came out and had a chat and turns out the families know each other from the 70s

I went to see the brickies today and they are cro with a token italian to even it up.

Can't knock it Can't escape it either.

I would be looking at Nedlands or Peppermint Grove. Nice area, affordable rents and freindly neighbours. Close to the city and a train ride to Freo.
