That's the worst thing about this loss for me. The fact that you could tell, quite early on, that even against a team like Brisbane, we were gonna lose. The gap between good and bad North is so pronounced, and obvious, that even against Brisbane, I was resigned to the fact that we simply hadn't turned up... again. And by the final siren, even though we did make a slight charge, I wasn't mad. I already knew for a while we weren't going to win, and that we didn't deserve to win. And that's the scary fact for me right now.

Surprisingly I was too. I didnt want us to win because i didnt think we deserved to. After everything thats happened this year I now know what to expect every game.

Imagine if we lost the games we were expected to lose (Freo, Syd, Port, WC) we would be a laughing stock and Scott would have probably got the flick already.

I'm mad. **** this shit. That ****wit has to go. Reckons we were playing OK in the first yet a dickhead like me could see that we had dropped off late in the quarter. Even Luke Fricken Darcy could see it.

So surprise, surprise the players don't lift in the second and start playing like shit. And Mr Stunned Mullett sits there pondering with his finger on his chin. Jam that finger up your arse and rotate jerkoff.

It starts with the coach. He sets the mood. He plays favourites. Guys out of form. Complacency reigns. Effort drops off. Same shit over and over. We are wallowing in the sea of mediocrity.

Something has to give. The sad thing is that our President is accepting of this shit. That ****en aloof campaigner is as much the cause of the problem as our coach is. It all starts at the top. :stern look

I wasn't mad. And had we snatched a win I would not have been elated. I am just numb. Numb as a result of our lack of lack of effort today; numb at the disparity of our play from week to week. And dumbfounded at the selection policy that seems to place no price on consistent effort and output - instead we reward mediocrity. We are soft and we are spineless - this is not the North I grew up with.

I have resigned myself to the fact that we won't be winning a flag in the next 10 years. With the armada of talent amassed within the two expansion sides and the VERY slow path of improvement path we are on, by the time we are peaking others will be flying past us.

I have reset my expectations down a few notches after tonight.

I wonder if Brad was mad? He was calm at HT against Shitmond apparently, HT against these shit trucks would of been the perfect time for a paint stripping bake of the playing group imo

Probably dimmed the lights and put on some cafe dal mar for the players to relax to:rolleyes:

Not mad. Frustrated as hell though. Coach doesn't seem to read the energy of the group nor have much idea how to influence it. I could stomach inconsistency in previous years, but no more.

I,m ****ing fed up, love the club more than my wife.....we were beaten by the 17th team for ****s sake...the 17th team!!!!!! We have reason to be fed up ....They brought in a quality player dal santo, coaching staff to improve us, 2013 winning football was exciting, we learned we were going to improve, the club were excited, remember all those positives speeches at the Sid barker......bunch of campaigners

**** you guys are calm. I'm pissed right off.

I was a raving lunatic, wanting to murder anyone who dared wander past my house as I stormed back and forth in the front yard trying to calm down, then one of the kids (who's sick as a dog) was in tears and crying out for "daddy" (Mrs Toes was at a function). An hour sorting him out and I'm still mightily pissed off, but in far more control thanks to a healthy dose of perspective.

I was laughing in the last quarter, at least they can provide the comedy if they can't provide the footy entertainment.

If you muted the commentary and put on the benny hill theme then your enjoyment of the game would have skyrocketed. ;)

It was like that. Dish thought he was an attacking winger in Brazil when he opted to cross from wide instead of taking the lead and having a ping from distance in the dying seconds. Even I was beginning to think "if our delivery into the front third improves we're a chance to snatch a late goal!"

My Number 1 rule if I was coach would be if you are within 50, you go for goal. Too often players look for a better option when the best option is going for goal. After all this game is about kicking a higher score. :stern look
