FoxSports 3 will be wall to wall Pura Cup this year. Besides, Pura Cup is 4th level down below Tests, One Dayers, and ING Cup. That would be like EDFL o=in football terms.

Does anyone else think draft picks are done in the wrong order. All other sporting contests culmitate in the championship match. ALmost all great sporting contests end with the Final. Why do the AFL start with the Number 1 draft pick and then go on to worse players. There is no climax to the draft. It peters out as worse and worse players are chosen, the longer it goes.

Wouldn't the draft be more interesting if they started with pick 79 and worked its way up to Pick no 1? As the event went on, the expectation would build. Who will be Top 10? Who will be number 1? etc. Perhaps this is why the draft does not have prime time TV coverage? I reckon my basic change would make it a better TV event.

poz, you are a tool. but i do agree that we dont need to televise every little that happens during the year.
the draft not being on tv is no big deal and who cares if rugby and soccer have more viewers than our DRAFT.
our games have WAY more people watching than all other codes.
it wont be the end of the world if people dont watch the draft.
and it wont be the end of football by keeping it off tv.
everything said by both of you was imature but very amusing. kept me smiling for all of about 8 mins.

Remember, if Andy D made 1.4 this year and if he was gunning for 1.8 next, then this, and not changing the current draft process, but simply the telecast or other representation of it, is concievable at AFL house.

Firstly, well done, the words are in the right order this time. Now try using punctuation (there the full stops, commas and stuff). Secondly, stop taking cheap shots at my posts from the outer. It is easy for you to sit back there and say my posts are crap, but how about you come up with something better. If my post #7 is so bad then tell us how you would make the reverse order draft work. I am waiting.
